Job Description
Kupu Ka ‘Eu is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Boeing Communications System Operator Instructor in support of anticipated federal contract requirements for the 89th Airlift Wing Formal Training Unit (FTU) at Joint Base Andrews, MD.
The instructor will deliver high-quality instruction for high-profile government aircraft, supporting Communication System Operators (CSOs) and related mission personnel. Training will emphasize communications systems, emergency protocols, aircraft-specific procedures, customer service standards, and compliance with applicable aviation regulations.
Compensation is anticipated to be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and final contract requirements.
This position is contingent upon contract award, customer approval, and final contract requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Instruct Executive Airlift (EA) Formal Training Unit students in accordance with current training guides and courseware.
• Monitor student progress and assist students in achieving required proficiency.
• Evaluate student performance and support correction of identified deficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain files and records related to EA FTU training, including AF Form 1522s, short records, and related documentation.
• Review course materials and support updates after each class.
• Ensure monthly and quarterly reviews and closeouts are completed prior to submission to the squadron.
• Administer tests and support student evaluation requirements.
• Request power-on trainers as needed, in coordination with Formal Training Unit leadership.
• Provide input to FTU flying trainers on recommended training focus areas.
• Maintain and adjust lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, and surveys in coordination with staff.
• Perform additional duties as required following contract award.
